Winchester College - Centre Facts
Winchester College is one of England’s most famous independent schools, founded in the 14th century. It later became the model for Eton College and King’s College, Cambridge in the 15th century. The College has an excellent academic record and is regarded as one of the leading schools in Britain. On site facilities include a fully equipped sports centre with a six-lane 25-metre pool, sports hall, extensive playing fields as well as squash and tennis courts. There is also a theatre, a College Library and large IT suites where supervised Internet and e-mail access is offered.

Accommodation is in spacious, basic bedrooms with 1-6 beds (smaller bedded rooms given to older students).
Access
Winchester is 100km south west of London and approximately 1.5 hours by road to London Heathrow and Gatwick. The school is located close to Winchester Cathedral.
