Rugby School - Centre Facts
Rugby School is one of the most famous schools in England, founded in 1567. It is where the game of rugby was invented in 1823. The school’s outstanding facilities include an Information Technology Centre; a Design Centre for art/craft, pottery and photography; a 400 seat theatre used for course Talent Shows; and a Social Centre for discos, karaoke and social events.
Accommodation
Accommodation is in mostly single rooms with some doubles and, for younger students, some larger rooms with 3-6 beds. Showers are available to students on an average ratio of 1:4.
Access
The campus is located in the centre of the historic market town of Rugby, within 35 km of Stratford-upon-Avon, the birthplace of William Shakespeare. Rugby is 45 minutes by train from central London.
